                                   White Bamboo with Apopholite  Crystals

This spring, my inspiration will be the beauty of nature.  I went to a gem and mineral show and got some beautiful new crystals which will inspire new forms.  I love the combination of the raku with crystals.  It is the combination of the earth, wind and fire.

January 11 - 12..........Clay workshop.  I will be teaching a clay workshop with Kathy Whitley at the Art Center in Virginia Beach, Va.  My part of the workshop will be to have students build a square box.  I really look forward to showing others my techniques and inspirations.

The Arts and Crafts business is at a standstill with all shows cancelled for March, April and into May.  I will post updates when shows will resume.  I hope each of you take care and stay healthy, that is all that is important at this moment in time.  Charlotte Munning

A Wise Old Owl

A wise old owl lived in an oak:

I am always inspired by nature.  For spring, maybe wisdom of the wise old owl should be added.
