2025 Raku

This year i am focusing on new raku ideas and new gallery exhibits. Please visit The Red Dog Gallery, 620 N Liberty St, Winston Salem, NC for my work in their exhibit, "Break the Ice". This is a look forwad to spring. Also visit The O'Brien Gallery, Greensboro, NC. They have wonderful contemporary art and several pieces of my horse hair raku. The Southwinds Gallery, Kernersville, NC, has several of my raku pieces. This is the perfect time of year to explore creativity and new ideas in clay.

Since i have retired from traveling to Art and Craft Festivals, i have looked for other opportunites to show my work. I still love to explore new ideas in my clay. Here are upcoming events. 2024 News

Mother Earth reminds us to cherish the earth we live on and take good care of this land. This year i have been working on new ideas for my raku and teaching some classes. i will be posting new work and sharing new pieces of my Raku and horse hair Raku.

Raku Agate Chime Sometimes you get inspired and just have to make it. These geode agate slabes hang freely from the Raku piece, bringing the earth, copper and agate together to form a dynamic statement in Raku. Summer 2023

 I have been working on horse hair pottery since the weather has warmed up. I am drawn to the contrast of the black and white. It is a very spiritual process to honor the horse.

                                                     Puzzled ……. Order out of Chaos 

 A beautiful new gallery is opening March 31, at 715 N Eugene Street, Greensboro, N C.  They have a great collection of paintings. I am proud to have my Raku there. This piece will be featured along with several other pieces of my newest work.
